Scope: Upon request of the client ‘Studio NONSTOP d.o.o.’ it was necessary to carry out an analysis of the submitted BIM model of the new Aerodrome Sarajevo administrative building made by the client. Analyse determined the quality and level of implementation of the BIM process and correct use of Autodesk Revit software.
The revision included the architectural phase with all construction elements, project of the plant and plumbing installations and their proper application in the BIM model in compliance with certain BIM standards, rules and norms. The BIM reference standards that are being run in this revision are defined in the LOD specification BIMForum Developer Specifications Level 2016 and refer to the LOD Matrix LOD300.
Model elements are graphically displayed within the model as a specific system, object or set in terms of quantity, size, shape, location, and orientation. Non-graphic information are also assigned to the model element. The revision covered all model elements of a BIM model, their circuits (all aspects) as well as all annotative elements.
An important segment is also management of information within the model and a possibility of manipulation (Building Information Management) and the generation of technical documentation.
