We got laser-scannedPublished: 25-03-2019
On Wednesday, 20th March, Walter’s Reality Capture Team attended a one-day FARO Construction BIM seminar and presentation of FARO scanners and software used for various applications in architecture, construction, engineering, geodesy, preservation of cultural heritage and management of infrastructure. The seminar was organized by IB-CADDY, official distributor of FARO 3D scanners for our region, with participation of FARO’s Distribution Manager for Central and Eastern Europe, Mr. Peter Schuh.
We were able to get insights into various examples of the application of laser scanning, the use of drones, handheld scanners and practical ways of using such acquired data, giving us a lot of food for thought and new ideas.
At the end, being a Reality Capture team, it was only natural to take a selfie with a laser scanner, and finally see ourselves in a point cloud.
